Van Dieren Maritime becomes since 21-10-2010 a member of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Stockhholm.
The Dutch Chamber primarily promotes, stimulates and facilitates Dutch business in Sweden in all its forms and entities and secondarily Swedish business towards the Netherlands.

Van Dieren Maritime expands rail service to Sweden

As from the 11th of September, the intermodal network of Van Dieren Maritime will be extended with shuttle trains between Herne (D) and Nässjö (SE). In the start-up phase, the overnight shuttles will run 3 times every week. The combi train will be pulled by so called “through going” locomotives, which guarantees a transit time of only 15 hours.

Rail service Turkey

Besides the services Van Dieren Maritime offers to and from Sweden, it is nowadays also possible to transport your cargo from Germany to Turkey.
With a three weekly departure from Herne (German Ruhr) and a four weekly departure from Istanbul, a direct multimodal connection between South-East Europe, Great Brittain and Scandinavian countries is created.

Huckepack Coil trailers

Van Dieren Maritime B.V. has started to use Coil trailers on their own railshuttles between Sweden and Germany.
Because especially in Coil transports the cargoweight is an important factor, it was a logic step to move these transport into a rail - road transport solution.
Van Dieren Maritime B.V., a multi modal transport provider with four different rail shuttles between Germany and Sweden under own direction, recognised this and started to offer Coil transports from door to door by using there own rail services and trucks.
